Gnomon Logic's clients are typically the potential investors in technology-based ventures. On occasion, we will work for technology start-ups themselves to identify trouble spots and offer solutions.

To perform an assessment, we will contact the firm which owns the technology in question, arrange the appropriate non-disclosure agreements, meet with their engineers and management, develop models of the technology both in isolation and in-use, develop models for cash flows over time in a variety of market conditions, and investigate the legal, environmental, financial, and technological sensitivities of the venture. We document our findings and will provide our analysis to our client. At our clients request, we will meet with the firm in question to discuss shortcomings, potential solutions, and opportunities for improvement.

Gnomon Logic only works on a fee-for-service basis, to ensure that our analyses are always objective and free from conflicts of interest. Our professional ethics prohibit us from analysing ventures in which we have a financial stake.
